M83 put on an epic show at the House of Blues in Boston Wednesday night, one of the very best shows I’ve seen in the past few years. All the members had great stage energy and the songs themselves were even bigger and better in a live setting. Highly recommended live act to see.

Take a Walk

My biggest issue with Passion Pit on their debut album Manners was frontman Michael Angelakos’ grating falsetto singing. He takes it down to mid-level vocal registers on the band’s new song “Take a Walk,” and combine that with an incredibly catchy synth hook and you’ve got a great comeback single!

From the new album Gossamer, available July 24th. Track available on iTunes on May 8th.
